Homeworks | TLBC's March Message Series

It takes a lot to run a home. Do you ever feel overwhelmed by it all? Paying bills, raising kids, doing laundry, putting food on the table, mowing the lawn, soccer practice, dance lessons, piano lessons. Day after day, the grind of the home life can take its toll. Well right on the heels of February's Thing About Love series, TLBC is proud to present our brand new March message series, HOMEWORKS. Whereas the whole month of February was devoted to husbands and wives, March is going to focus on the home at large. Children, discipline, finances, priorities. If it happens in the home, we're gonna talk about it. So come join us each Sunday morning in March and be encouraged at how incredibly practical God's Word is in helping our "home work".

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY | ISRAEL UNDER FIRE

This study is on Wednesday nights in PB4, 7:00-8:00pm

Join Pastor Ken Morrill on Wednesday nights for a DVD / Bible Study series entitled Israel Under Fire. In 120 eye-opening minutes, apologist John Ankerberg and journalist Jimmy DeYoung document many signs that point—right now—toward apocalyptic conflict in the Middle East, including explosive issues such as:

* Preparations for rebuilding the Jewish temple on one of Islam’s holiest place

* External and internal threats to Israel from Palestinian Arabs

* Iran’s nuclear capability and intention to “wipe Israel off the map”

Adding to the visual impact is incisive Q & A footage with figures such as Israeli politicians Benjamin Netanyahu and Moshe Arens and Palestinian Authority spokesman Adnan Husseini. Conversations with numerous rabbis, religious leaders, and other guests round out some of the most exclusive video available on current Middle East spiritual–political issues.

The Israel Under Fire DVD offers viewers unmatched insight into the events now being generated by peoples, alliances, and religions - events that will unavoidably involve North Americans and the other billions of the globe.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY | ESTHER: IT'S TOUGH BEING A WOMAN

This study is on Wednesday nights in PB1, 7:00-8:00pm

Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman by Beth Moore looks at the Old Testament story of Esther as a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's woman. Going up against heavyweights bent on her destruction, Esther trusted God and landed a blow that saved her people. Esther's destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner.

Join Beth in an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. She peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today. This portion of God's Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.
